⚠️ Always avoid metal utensils when mixing clay — clays can react with metal and lose effectiveness. We recommend using a wooden spoon and bowl, like those in our Essentials Masking Kit.
For Hair Mask:
Mix the clay powder with filtered water (or a blend of water and apple cider vinegar) until smooth. Apply generously to your scalp and hair, massaging gently from root to tip. Leave on for around 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Always follow with conditioner to restore softness and ensure the last traces of clay are removed.
For a Detox Bath:
Pre-mix ½ to 1 cup of clay with a little water to form a paste, then stir into warm bath water (this prevents clumping). Soak for 20 minutes to help draw out impurities, soothe irritation, support circulation, and leave skin feeling refreshed.
For Children:
Use a gentler dose — about ¼ cup of clay per bath — and shorten bath times. Always supervise children and avoid applying clay directly to very young children’s faces or scalps.
Frequency:
Use once a week, or whenever your skin, scalp, or body needs a reset.
💡 Tip: Clay treatments can be a little messy, but the mineral-rich results are well worth it — expect refreshed skin, balanced scalp, and an overall sense of renewal.
