⚠️ Always avoid metal utensils when mixing clay — clays can react with metal and lose effectiveness. We recommend using a wooden spoon and bowl, like those in our Essentials Masking Kit.
For Hair & Scalp:
Scalp Detox Treatment (Recommended – All Hair Types) -Mix the clay powder with filtered water (or a blend of water and apple cider vinegar) to form a smooth paste.
Apply directly to the scalp on dry hair, working along partings and massaging gently.
Leave on for 10–20 minutes (no need to allow the mask to fully dry).
Rinse thoroughly, then shampoo twice to completely remove the clay, then follow on with your regular conditioner on mid-lengths and ends only.
This treatment helps to lift build-up, absorb excess oil, calm the scalp and support a healthy scalp environment without weighing the roots down.
For a Detox Bath:
Pre-mix ½ to 1 cup of clay with a little water to form a paste, then stir into warm bath water (this prevents clumping). Soak for 20 minutes to help draw out impurities, soothe irritation, support circulation, and leave skin feeling refreshed.
For Children: Use a gentler dose — about ¼ cup of clay per bath — and shorten bath times. Always supervise children and avoid applying clay directly to very young children’s faces or scalps.
Frequency:
Use once a week, or whenever your skin, scalp, or body needs a reset.
